This Privacy Policy explains how Kaizen Apps ("we", "us") handles information in the Private Lending Deal Desk app for iPhone (the "app") and on this website, privatelendingdealdesk.com (the "site").
Information you enter in the app
Deal details, lending programs, saved deals and the optional quote profile (company name, contact name, email and phone) are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app. We do not receive, store or have access to this information. The app does not sync it to other devices or to iCloud.
Like other app data, it is included in your iPhone's own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you use them. Those backups are provided by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple's privacy policy; we have no access to them.
You can delete saved deals and programs in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone.
What the app does not collect
The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party software development kits, and it does not send any information to us or to third parties. It does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Purchases
The Lifetime Access in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The app checks with Apple on your iPhone whether you own Lifetime Access; this check is handled by Apple's StoreKit framework. Apple provides developers with aggregated sales reports that do not identify you. Apple's handling of purchase information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Quotes you share
When you create a preliminary quote, the PDF is created on your iPhone and kept only temporarily. It leaves your iPhone only if you choose to share it (for example with Messages, Mail, AirDrop or Files), and then it goes only to the recipients or apps you choose.
Emails and calls
If you contact us by email, from Settings → Contact Support or Request a Feature in the app, or by phone, we receive your email address or phone number, your message and anything you choose to include. Messages written from the app end with the app name, version and build number, your iOS version and the general device model (for example "iPhone"). They never include your deals or calculations, and you can see and edit the whole message before sending.
We use this information only to respond to you and to improve the app and the site, and we do not share it with anyone else. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), which stores messages on our behalf. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.
Crash reports and diagnostics
The app does not collect diagnostics itself. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you, under Apple's policies. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your iPhone.
Preferences stored on your iPhone
The app keeps a few settings on your iPhone, such as your last-used lending program and counters that make sure a request to rate the app is shown rarely and only after you have used it. These stay on your iPhone. Whether a rating prompt appears is decided by Apple.
This website
Hosting and request logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives the standard information your browser sends with each page request, such as your IP address, browser type, the address of the page requested and the time, and may record it in request logs to operate and secure the service. Vercel handles this information under the Vercel Privacy Policy.
No cookies, analytics, ads or tracking
The site does not set cookies and does not load analytics, advertising, tracking or social media scripts. Its fonts and images are served from the site itself. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not track you across websites. Because there is no tracking, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Calculators run in your browser
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or to anyone else while you use them, and the calculators never ask for names, addresses or contact details. Nothing you enter is saved by the site.
Calculator links
On calculators that offer Copy link, once you change an input, the page writes your inputs into the address shown in your browser's address bar (the part after the "?", called the query string) so the page can be bookmarked or shared. Writing the address sends nothing by itself, although your browser may keep it in its history, and if you then open another page on this site, your browser may include the address as the referring page in that request. The Copy link button copies the same kind of address.
If you reload such a page or open it from a bookmark, or if you or someone you send it to opens a link that contains inputs, the full address, including the numbers in it, is sent to the host like any other page request and may appear in Vercel's standard request logs. If the numbers are confidential, don't share the link.
Session storage
On phones, the site may show a small bar offering the iPhone app. If you dismiss it, the site remembers that in your browser's session storage so the bar stays hidden. The setting stays in your browser, is never sent to us and is cleared when you close the tab. The site stores nothing else on your device.
Links to other sites
Links in the app to our website or to the App Store open in your browser or the App Store app. The site links to the App Store and to the sources we cite. When you follow a link to another site, the site asks your browser to report only privatelendingdealdesk.com as the page you came from, not the full address of the page you were on or what you entered in it.
On iPhone, Safari may show Apple's Smart App Banner for the app at the top of the site. Safari displays that banner itself; the site loads no Apple script for it. Pages outside this site, such as Apple's license agreement or a cited source, are covered by their own privacy policies.
Children
The app and the site are professional finance tools and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or hold the information you enter in the app or in the site's calculators, it remains under your control on your device. If you have emailed or called us, you may ask to access or delete that correspondence by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor valid requests.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app or the site handles information, we will update this policy and its effective date on this page before the change takes effect.
This version, effective October 4, 2026, replaces the version effective September 30, 2026. The website section now describes the site's move from GitHub Pages to Vercel, the browser-based calculators and their shareable links, and session storage for the app bar. We also added a phone number. The app's practices did not change.
