Terms of Use

Terms for the Private Lending Deal Desk iPhone app and this website, both published by Kaizen Apps.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Private Lending Deal Desk app for iPhone (the "app") and to this website, privatelendingdealdesk.com, including its free calculators and guides (the "site"). Both are published by Kaizen Apps ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, or by using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.

2. Estimates only, not advice

The app and the site's calculators are calculators. Their results, including maximum loan amounts, binding constraints, leverage ratios, points, interest, cash required at closing, lender revenue and preliminary quotes, are estimates based on the information and assumptions you enter.

  • The app and the site do not provide legal, tax, lending, underwriting, compliance, investment or financial advice.
  • The app and the site do not originate, approve, service or guarantee any loan. Private Lending Deal Desk is not a lender or broker.
  • Preliminary quotes created with the app are non-binding and for discussion purposes only. Final terms are subject to underwriting, due diligence, documentation, lender approval and applicable law.
  • Estimates of cash required at closing exclude title, escrow, taxes, insurance, third-party costs and other closing charges.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for checking all results, loan terms, calculations and documentation before relying on them, and for any decision to make, fund, broker or accept a loan. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your lending activity, including licensing, disclosure, fair-lending and usury laws, and for any quote or calculator link you share with others.

4. Lifetime Access purchase

The app's features are unlocked by Lifetime Access, a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy. Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's terms; payment, billing and refunds are handled by Apple. You can restore Lifetime Access at no charge on devices signed in with the same Apple Account.

5. Your data

Information you enter in the app is stored only on your iPhone, as described in our Privacy Policy. We cannot recover data that is deleted or lost with your device, so keep your own backups of anything important. The site's calculators do not save what you enter; the Privacy Policy explains how calculator links carry your inputs.

6. The website and its free calculators

The site, including every calculator and guide, is free to use and needs no account. When you use it, these terms also apply:

  • Estimates and education only. Calculator results are estimates from the inputs you enter, using the formulas described on our Methodology page. Example deals and limits shown on the site are illustrations, not a standard program. Guides are general education, written from the sources cited and dated on each page; information can change after the date shown.
  • Not a lender. We do not make, broker, arrange, approve or service loans, we do not take loan applications, and we do not refer borrowers to lenders. Nothing on the site is an offer, quote, approval or commitment to lend.
  • No warranty. We work to keep the calculators and guides accurate, but we do not promise that they are complete, current, error-free or suitable for any particular loan. Sections 8 and 9 apply to the site as they do to the app.
  • Acceptable use. Use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt or overload it, gain unauthorized access to it or its hosting, introduce malicious code, or use automated tools to send requests at a rate that burdens the service. Do not present the site's results as a quote, approval or commitment from us or from any lender, or suggest that we endorse you or your business.
  • Content. The site's text, design, code and images belong to Kaizen Apps or are used with permission. You may link to any page and share calculator results and links. Do not republish substantial parts of the site without our written permission.
  • Other sites. Links to other sites, including the App Store and the sources we cite, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

7. Updates and availability

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app or the site. We do not promise that the app or the site will be error-free or available at all times.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app, the site and their results are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaizen Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the app or the site, including any lending, borrowing or investment decision made using their results. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Trademarks

Apple, the Apple logo and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc. Private Lending Deal Desk is not made or endorsed by Apple.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version and its effective date are always posted on this page. If you keep using the app or the site after an update, the updated Terms apply.

This version, effective October 4, 2026, replaces the version effective September 30, 2026. It extends the Terms to this website and adds section 6 (the website and its free calculators) and section 10 (trademarks). The terms for the app did not change.
